Arthur E. Ray, Jr., the founding partner of Arthur Ray Law Offices, attended the University of Mississippi and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting in 1963, having been admitted as a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. In 1966 he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree, finishing in the upper 10% of his law class. He was admitted to practice law in Mississippi in 1966 and in Tennessee in 1969. He was admitted to membership in the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants in 1971.
Richard Lee “Skip” Carnell, Sr., a partner in Arthur Ray Law Offices, joined the firm in 2000. He is a 1982 graduate from Union University with a Bachelors of Science degree in History and Political Science and a 1988 graduate from Memphis State University Law School with a Juris Doctor. He was admitted to practice law in Tenneseee in 1989.
